Applications can be found on the Plot Twist Book Festival section of our website. If an application is no longer available, that category is currently closed. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance.

We received more than 500 author and vendor applications for fewer than 150 available spaces, so reviewing applications has taken some time. We currently have very limited availability remaining. If selected, you will receive an acceptance email directly from our team.

Plot Twist Book Fest will take place on May 22, 2027, at the Maude Cobb Convention Center in Longview, Texas.

Happily Ever After (VIP) admission begins at 11:00 AM.
Meet Cute (General Admission) begins at 12:00 PM.
The festival ends at 5:30 PM.

Our Happily Ever After (VIP) tickets are currently sold out, but Meet Cute (General Admission) tickets are still available.

At this time, we are not sure whether additional VIP tickets will become available. Any updates regarding additional ticket releases will be announced through our website and social media.

Tickets will only be available at the door if the festival has not sold out. We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance!

All ticket sales are final, and refunds will not be issued. If you can no longer attend, you may transfer or resell your ticket to someone else. Plot Twist Book Fest is not responsible for ticket transfers or third-party transactions.

Admission includes access to author signings, bookish vendors, main-stage programming, crafts, trivia, live fantasy music, and other festival activities. Books, merchandise, food, and other items sold during the festival are purchased separately. Happily Ever After pass holders get early entry at 11am, Meet Cute pass holders get admission at 12pm.

Yes! You are welcome to bring books from home to be signed. Individual signing limits may vary by author and will be communicated when applicable.

Yes! Books will be available for purchase through participating authors and our onsite bookseller.

Each author and vendor will determine which payment methods they accept. We recommend bringing both a card and cash.

Totes, purses, backpacks, and top-loading book carts are welcome. Please be mindful of walkways and other attendees when bringing larger bags or carts. All bags may be subject to inspection.

Come casual, dress bookishly, or wear a costume inspired by your favorite character. We love seeing readers have fun with their festival outfits! Weapons of any kind (fake or real) are not permitted.

Yes! Maude Cobb Convention Center is wheelchair accessible, and we are working to make the festival as accessible and comfortable as possible for our attendees. Designated accessible seating and assistance from festival volunteers will be available. Additional accessibility information will be shared as we finalize the festival layout.

Yes. Plot Twist Book Fest is committed to celebrating and supporting human creativity. AI-generated artwork and designs are not permitted to be displayed, promoted, or sold at the festival. This includes book covers, artwork, banners, signage, bookmarks, postcards, promotional materials, merchandise, and other visual materials. All participating authors, vendors, artists, exhibitors, and influencers are required to follow our AI Content Policy. Books that are AI-generated are also not eligible for participation in the Plot Twist Book Awards. If concerns arise regarding materials displayed at the festival, Plot Twist Book Fest reserves the right to request clarification and require non-compliant materials to be removed or replaced.

Yes! We would love to work with businesses, authors, vendors, and organizations interested in supporting Plot Twist Book Fest. Parking and additional venue information will be shared closer to the festival.

We are currently working on food and refreshment options for the festival. Additional information about food vendors, food trucks, and available refreshments will be announced closer to the event.

Our festival schedule, including author panels, live music, trivia, the Plot Twist Book Awards, giveaways, and other programming, will be available on our website and shared with attendees before the festival.
